Lunch বাংলাদেশ 205 for 7 (Hridoy 100*, Warrican 3-60) trail ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ 356 (Jangoo 133, Wickham 61, Greaves 51, Mahmud 6-90) by 151 রান। ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ took control of the সিলেট Test after picking up four বাংলাদেশ উইকেট in the first session of the তৃতীয় দিন. বাংলাদেশ had Towhid Hridoy's maiden Test শতক to be happy about, but they were precariously placed at 205 for 7 at lunch with Jomel Warrican picking up three উইকেট and Roston Chase one.। বাংলাদেশ are also unlikely to have Shadman Islam bat in the first innings, which means they are effectively eight down and still over 150 রান behind in the first innings.।

After pace put বাংলাদেশ on the back foot on the দ্বিতীয় দিন when they responded to ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ' 356, it was spin that upended them on the third morning. Warrican was accurate as usual, taking his series haul to 12 উইকেট. Chase, meanwhile, now has six in the series. But বাংলাদেশ did manage to add 117 রান in the session, thanks mainly to Hridoy.। Warrican removed Mushfiqur Rahim with a dipping and turning delivery in the eighth over of the morning, Mushfiqur hitting straight to Chase - who scooped the ball up diving to his left - at cover to fall for 34. Mushfiqur waited for a confirmation from ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ অধিনায়ক Chase before walking off.। Warrican then removed Litton Das in almost identical fashion in his next over when the ব্যাটার hit the ball to cover where Brandon King didn't have to work too hard to take the catch.।

A string of boundaries followed as Hridoy and Mehidy Hasan Miraz tried to push the scoring along, but Mehidy couldn't last long, Justin Greaves running across from slip to the leg side to intercept his lap sweep and taking a sharp diving catch off Chase's bowling.। Warrican then had Hasan Mahmud caught behind for one, and Hridoy was in danger of being stranded at the other end at that point.। He chose attack, and sent Chase for a six and a four in the next over, before hammering another boundary in his next. His tickle off Jayden Seales took him to 99, before another single off Chase got him to his শতক.।

On the দ্বিতীয় দিন, ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ gave themselves enough to bowl with after Amir Jangoo scored 133 and there were অর্ধশতক from Kevin Wickham, the debutant, and Justin Greaves.। বাংলাদেশ had to open with Nayeem Hasan because of Shadman's unavailability, but the makeshift opener lasted just five balls before edging Seales to slip. Tanzid Hasan toe-ended Justin Greaves to cover, where Wickham took a good catch, and Shamar Joseph had Najmul Hossain Shanto's number, hitting his off stump with a beauty from around the উইকেট.। No ned for help from fielders, two stumps flattened. King castled and how।

Full ball shapes in incessantly till it hit ground, King wanted to use the movement by flicking it through midwicket. Head fell over and he was beaten while trying to hit it on the move. Beaten all ends up and the stumps splay। Pitched up, given lbw quickly. Da Silva chats with Wickham, no review taken. Length ball at 132ks landed outside off and angled in. Went straight and lost little pace off the pitch. Da Silva's back foot was planted and the front foot hovered across as he looked to defend straight. In no position to make contact and was hit in front of middle and off. Hawk-Eye says going on to smash middle. Good call not to review। Brave leave turns bad leave as trusting the bounce costs Hodge. He left one on length two balls ago and got away. Left one on length again. 131ks, mostly seam up. This too was on a length, may have been a touch fuller, but not all that much from what I could tell. Hodge straightened his feet to stand beside the line and the ball hit top of middle. Top of middle।

Don't want those as a ব্যাটার. Mahmud smiles. Ball-tracking is in a little later and shows that this ball was actually shorter than the one left safely two balls ago। plants the bouncer in Wickham's head, and gets him with a length ball. Wickham is fooled, and bowled. Mahmud angled it in from over the উইকেট, while also bowling from wide of the crease. It landed on the shorter side of a length on off, and jussssst seemed to straighten. But Wickham went driving with the angle, and was beaten on the outside edge. The off stump was floored. But it was a great rescue act from the debutant, who looked assured all day। Let go, off-stump flattened. Mahmud goes wide of the crease from around the উইকেট, hits the heart of a length with the seam up and decks it back in sharply. Jangoo took a small stride across and considered playing it before shouldering arms. Hit top of off, sends the stump leg side. End of a brilliant knock।

Mehidy replaces Taijul and strikes first ball। First উইকেট for a spinner in this Test. Mehidy bowled a fullish ball just outside off. Greaves keeps his eyes on the ball and tries to block it from in front of middle stump. But the ball does not turn as much as he'd have expected... and the delivery instead goes past his outside edge. Off-stump flattened। That's two in two, is it।

Great ball first up. Mahmud goes over the উইকেট, lands it on a length and brings it in towards off. Chase wanted to defend straight but there was a gap between bat and pad, he dangled the bat around and got an inside edge to the left of the keeper. Good carry and went at speed to Litton's left, good catch। keeper is standing up to Hasan, and Litton whips the bails off first ball। Appeal for stumping।

This was a fullish ball outside off and the ব্যাটার reached out to drive. But he misses, and while missing the shot, also raises his back leg because he's off-balanced. Litton took the bails off in a flash, and the TV umpire confirms that the back-foot is in the air. Bishop goes and Hasan Mahmud has a five-উইকেট haul। Two stumps diverge and Mahmud has six. Seam slightly wobbly, on a length at 128ks, loses no pace off the pitch. The angle in - from the উইকেট - is sharp. Shamar's hurried by the first ball he faces in the session. He slid leg side and tried to defend it leg side. Way too late on it, middle and leg stump splayed। That's out, yeah, looked dead. Given lbw. Review. Wide of the crease from around the উইকেট. Length ball dipped and landed just outside off and beat the inside edge of the full-faced block. Hit the outer-edge of the front pad, just below the knee-roll. Decent stride forward but the ball would still hit top of leg as per Hawk-Eye।

the debutant takes a stunner and Tanzid is shell-shocked। Full outside off and Tanzid gives the বোলার a charge. Tries to slash it square, and it is destined for the cover-point fence, but Wickham jumps to his right and plucks the ball from the air. Terrific catch at cover-point, and a nonchalatant celebration from the youngster. The umpires have gone upstairs for confirmation of a clean catch, but that's just a formality. O-U-T.। catching practice for first slip।

The first slip fielder is standing deep, and he pouches that easily. Seales digs it in short outside off and Nayeem goes poking at it. Extra bounce off the deck, and that means Nayeem is not in control. Edged behind, and বাংলাদেশ are 13/1 with the makeshift opener falling for 5। Yeah, that's a bonafide উইকেট-taking ball। 142ks, angling in from around the উইকেট to land on a length around off and then straightens. Shanto took a small stride across and looked to defend towards cover. He played the initial line and the seam movement took the ball to top of off uninterrupted. Off stump travelled at least a quarter of the way to the keeper, Shamar leaps and pumps his fists. Scenes।

It gripped, paused and turned away a touch from a full-length outside off, Mushfiqur skedaddles forward and plays a hurried drive, chipping it to Chase who takes a magnificent forward diving catch; just wanted to continue along his merry way and score quick, will be livid with himself after getting his eye in and looking so comfortable; threw his উইকেট away. Warrican picks his first. Bowls full and a bit wide, triggered the error, it was a puzzle and the ব্যাটার got the answer wrong। Outfoxed, done like a dinner। Once again another dismissal in the same fashion।

Bowled it in slow motion, touch full and angled in at off, attacks and drives it in the air towards King at cover; just like Mushfiqur, he also fell into the trap of Warrican; urgency and counter-attacking backfiring। a brilliant catch from Greaves. Miraz shaped up early to play a paddle sweep but couldn't keep it down. Greaves anticipated it perfectly from first slip, moved across and completed it with a dive. The third umpire is checking if it's a clean catch. It is। an appeal for caught behind and Warrican is confident. Chase goes for the reviews. Was tossed up around off and turned away. Did it take the outside edge or just beat it।

There is a small spike when the ball was next to the bat and Warrican and ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ have yet another উইকেট this morning।
